B Team Cup Champions

Congratulations to our B team on winning the Group2 Jimmy Hopper Shield.

A fine win over Torpoint B ensured the men won one trophy this year!! Photos of the team are in the Photo section.

Gawler Cup Champions

Congratulations to Denise and Mandy on winning the Group2 Gawler Cup.

Mandy into Last 8 of Over-55's

Congratulation to Mandy who reached the last 8 of the County Over-55's Singles. Mandy won 3 games at Bodmin to reach the Quarter Finals to be played at Mylor Bridge on August 30th

Mandy into Last 4

Congratulation to Mandy who reached the last 4 of the County Singles. Mandy won 3 games at Saltash and one at Wadebridge to reach the Quarter Finals. A win against Fran Phillips by 21-10 put Mandy into the semis, where she met Liz Bray who was playing on her home soil at Truro. Mandy lost by the narrowest of Margins . Unlucky.

Schools Games at Callington

Eight teams took part in the East bowls event of the Cornwall School Games. Jenny Marchant of Liskeard ran the event on behalf of the Cornwall Sports Partnership, ably assisted by our own Graham Body. Four teams won through to the Cornwall Finals at Bodmin, joined by the four qualifiers from the West event. The victorious teams were Saltash Brunel, Saltash Sir Robert Geoffrey, Wadebridge St.Breock, and Launceston Windmill Academy.
