2026 is an excellent year to try out the sport of bowls at Callington.

The club is offering reduced membership fees for all adult bowlers, and free memberships for all Under-18's.

Further discounts on club shirts and trousers for those who join the club and who wish to play competitively make  2026 an absolute bargain for new and transferring bowlers.

The club is running the following sessions for all interested parties:

Sunday 19 April 10.00am - 2.00pm

Saturday 25 April 10.00am - 2.00p

On both days, there will be music playing, cheap beer and prosecco, tea and coffee.

Come and enjoy yourselves. Just turn up in trainers and casual gear.

Whilst the game is perceived to be played as 'old men's marbles', there are Club, County, and English youth teams with the majority of top players throughout the world being under 30. 

​

If you enjoyed watching curling on TV, then come and try the equivalent on grass.
