Photographs showing the preparation and details for the theme of Sir Francis Drake's famous victory over the Spanish Armade in 1588, where by legend he completed a game of bowls before encountering the Spanish.

This entry won the Best in Carnival award, and was highly commended in the Tavistock Carnival which took place a short while after.
