Mike Pearce R.I.P

In his highly distinguished and much loved years of membership of Callington Bowling Club Mike achieved the paramount honour of  Club President for the years of  2015 to 2022, having previously been Captain in 2010 and 2011. Mike's friendly and inspirational attitude in playing the game will never be forgotten.

No other bowler in the club has matched Mike's achievement of nine Club Championships, which started back in 1988. His name appears a further 24 times on other club trophies, plus twice as Cornish  Times Singles Champion alongside the Spencer Davey Pairs and Dennis Fours ECBL competitions.

In 2014 Mike achieved the ultimate County honour of representing Cornwall in the 2wood Singles National Championships at Leamington, having also won the Bowls Cornwall Group2 2wood Singles; in the same year he was a finalist in the Group2 Triples competition.
